Once you have arrived in the UK and are staying with your hosts, one of our Welfare Visitors will be in touch within the first 2 or 3 weeks to arrange a visit.

Help if you are at risk of homelessness

If you’re a guest from Ukraine and have arrived in the UK, but you are now at risk of becoming homeless – for instance if the relationship between you and your host has broken down – it is important to act as early as you can. Or, if you are already homeless contact our team for advice and support.

Updating your Legal Status

You can update your legal status once you have arrived in the UK or apply to extend your stay by applying for a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).

A biometric residence permit (BRP) can be used to confirm your:

• identity
• right to study
• right to any public services or benefits you’re entitled to
