Every household in South Cambridgeshire is entitled to 1 free green bin for food and garden waste, which we collect fortnightly from March to November and monthly from December to February. Additional green bins will not be emptied without a valid permit.

You can pay for an additional bin/permit at anytime during the year, but the price is the same. There are no concessions. The subscription year runs from 1 October 2024 - 30 September 2025. It is the permit that you pay for, not the bin.

Please use the 'Pay for a green bin permit' option to renew your permit, or if you have an additional green bin(s) and need to pay for a permit(s) so that they will be emptied for 2024/25.

Please use the 'Pay for an additional green bin' option if you want to order a new additional green bin. Please note that you will automatically receive a permit once you have placed your order so you do not need to order this separately.
