Paying your council invoice
Council invoices are often referred to as sundry debt invoices. They cover services that we charge money for, such as:
- trade waste
- green bins
- community lifeline service
These invoices may also mention money that you’ve received from us which were overpayments. For any overpayments, you’ll need to return the money back to us.
If you don’t pay your invoice, we will send you a reminder. If you still don't pay or miss payments, we may have to take further recovery action against you.
Make a payment
Make sure you have your invoice at hand, as you’ll need the invoice number as the payment reference.
If you don’t have your invoice, contact us to get a copy of it.
Housing Benefit
If your query is about repaying an overpayment of Housing Benefit, tell us about a change in your circumstances.
