Community safety toolkit
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner gave money to South Cambs Community Safety Partnership so they could make a toolkit to help people make their own Community Group. This group brings local people together to make things better, like stopping crime, helping young people, and making the area safer.
We know from evidence that when people work together, it makes them feel like they belong and have a special place. The toolkit teaches communities how to solve problems on their own because they know what they need best.
The toolkit has ideas on how to ask others to join, use surveys to share ideas, and how to talk to other people who can help. It also has stories from other communities to get good ideas.
