Premises and club licences

A premises licence or club premises certificate is required to carry out licensable activities (such as selling alcohol, or providing entertainment), or in the case of members clubs, club qualifying activities from the premises.  

A premise can be any place including a:

  • building
  • a moveable structure
  • an open space
  • a vehicle or vessel
